Our experience within our family of origin can play a role in influencing an individual’s current patterns and behaviors. A person’s family history can also influence the dynamics in a relationship.
how does your family of origin affect your relationships today?
As an intern who focuses on systems, my approach centers on understanding and addressing the underlying forces within the relationship as a whole, rather than solely focusing on individual issues. I recognize that individuals in a relationship are interconnected and that their behaviors and emotions are influenced by the larger relational system.
